• User Authentication (JSP): Use JSP (JavaServer Pages) to handle user registration and login functionality. Create JSP pages for user registration and login forms. Validate user inputs and store user information in the MySQL database.

• Backend Database (MySQL): Set up a MySQL database to store user information, candidate details, voter details and voting records. Establish a connection between the application and the MySQL database using JDBC (Java Database Connectivity).

• Server-Side Programming (Servlets): Create Servlets to handle user requests and responses. Retrieve and store data in the MySQL database using JDBC.

• Voting Process: Design the user interface for candidate selection and voting using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Use JavaScript to handle user interactions on the client-side, such as selecting candidates and submitting votes. Send requests to the server-side to record the votes in the MySQL database.
